We are looking for a highly skilled Full-stack Software Engineer to join the Digital Product Area Range Core - Food within Technology at Inter IKEA, Range Operations..
The Range Core Area is dedicated to ensuring an attractive, consistent, and efficient way of working for product development and our suppliers. Our goal is to establish a strong foundation for IKEA's product information, enabling its seamless use across the entire value chain. We are growing our team in Malmö, Sweden, but you need to have great communication and collaboration skills to be able to integrate our offshore team.

We’re looking for a Full-stack Software Engineer who loves to learn new things and develop but never wants to be fully grown. Qualification
What we’d like you to bring to the table
The role as a Software Engineer requires you to have:
5+ years of strong experience in Go (Golang) for designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs.
Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend development using Next.js and React.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Understanding of authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, security, and performance optimization.
Experience working in Agile product teams using Scrum or Kanban.
Curiosity to work with system design and development in the PLM ecosystem Optiva from Infor.
Good interpersonal skills: active listening, coaching and facilitation. Empathetic and able to easily build relationships with other co-workers.
Good communication skills: communicating in a clear, structured and honest way – both with inhouse and offshore team and colleagues.
A deep understanding of IKEA's core values and cultural principles as well as a mindset and way of working that reflects this.
A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or other related technical field.
It’s a plus if you also have:
Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Event-hub.
Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and performance optimization in Next.js.
Experience with Azure or multi-cloud environments.
Exposure to platform engineering and developer experience initiatives.
Knowledge of security best practices, DevSecOps, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience building gRPC microservices using Go.
Experienced in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Helm, with hands-on expertise in containerized deployments leveraging Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
Knowledge of working with system design and development in the PLM ecosystem Optiva from Infor.
Knowledge of working in CPG industry mainly Food domain.
