As part of our team, you will, together with your peers, continuously improve our information security and data privacy strategy for IKEA. You will engage with stakeholders across the organisation, nurture a security-by-design culture, and monitor digital risks, compliance and improvement plans. With your broad knowledge, you will be a big contributor to the protection and strengthening of the IKEA Brand and trademark.
More specifically, in this role you will:
Advise internal digital product and platform teams to implement information security controls. You leverage our internal ISDP standards and guidelines, but you are also capable of thinking out-of-the-box and recommend tailored solutions and work side-by-side with the teams to find practical solutions.
Act as an ambassador of IKEA values, promoting collaboration, innovation, and a positive work culture.
Information security is not a one-person job. You will work together with many specialists and leaders across IKEA, including but not limited to:
Our centralized information security and data privacy capability teams to ensure the digital product and platforms teams that you support leverage available capabilities, such as identity and access management, security monitoring, and disaster recovery.
This role is positioned within the Franchise and Data Privacy team in Operations Management, part of Inter IKEA Group’s Enabling Functions and reports to the Franchise and Data Privacy team manager. Occasional traveling, mainly to Sweden/Netherlands but also outside of Europe, will be required to stay connected with Inter IKEA Group’s network of information security and data privacy teams and the franchisees you support.
About you
We do some amazing things at IKEA, therefore we need some amazing people – this position is not an exception!
You should be able to inspire and mobilize people toward clear objectives, embrace ambiguity, and contribute to building new capabilities. You are curious and able to build relationships to establish strong trust between the information security and data privacy community and its stakeholders. It is also necessary that you carry natural credibility, and you have a proven track record of reaching stretch targets.
We expect you to:
Have 5+ years of relevant knowledge, and hands-on experiences in digital/IT risk management, compliance, information security and data privacy.
The IKEA culture and values are very much a part of our business and day-to-day work life. For you to thrive and grow with IKEA it’s important for us that you share our values! You can read more regarding our values and life at IKEA at www.IKEA.com.
