    We believe that you have minimum 5 years of experience in Retail commercial property leasing, track record of leading negotiations with high level stakeholders and strong analytical skills. You are a true team player with great communications skills in English, who loves to work in close collaboration with colleagues and partners.

    To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge of:

    • Strategic planning
    • How to create synergies among various tenants, that ensures a complementary offer for the customers
    • How to set up contractual arrangements for the use of INGKA assets in accordance with INGKA and country standards
    • Prices, standards and structures of the local retail property market
    • Identifying, selecting and using the right tools, methods and challenges to ensure external partner competence, potential and development
    • How to assess investment towards property improvements in current locations by analyzing, selecting and prioritizing investment opportunities and assessing this to the expected outcome)
    • In-depth knowledge of rental processes and documentation
    • Experience in dealing with cross-functional teams and projects

    A day in your life with us

    Ingka Centers is in the middle of an exciting journey, where we create and develop Meeting Places, into something way beyond an ordinary shopping Centre. As Leasing Business Partner, you have an important function in this journey by securing the right and most relevant retail partners in our Meeting Places and projects. You will be responsible for creating and developing the lease strategy for the existing Meeting Places and future projects.

    Some examples of your responsibilities are:
    • Supporting Meeting Places in creation and development of the yearly lease strategy for the existing Meeting Places and future projects, their further rollout and securing proper tenant mix
    • Developing leasing expertise in the Meeting Places to ensure MPs are capable to transform leasing strategy into business planning and short-term actions
    • Analyses tenant performance in terms of financial stability, appropriate sales levels, and relevance to the new Offer Development strategy
    • Negotiating the most favorable conditions for the Meeting Place by preparing a clear feasibility study, negotiations strategy to achieve short-term and long-term MP objectives
    • Leading and developing strong and long-lasting partnerships with key players in the category
    • Developing expertise related to the new players, new business models and new trends in the market

    In this position, you will be based in Malmö, Sweden. Your manager will be Annett Norén Beckert, our Lease Category Manager.

    As a Lease Business Partner at Ingka Centres, you will be a part of the Operations domain. The purpose of the Operations domain is to optimize the Meeting Place experience for the many people and deliver sustainable business growth for our Partners and Meeting Places. Moreover, to achieve operational results, drive efficiency improvements and enhance commercial performance and brand value of the Meeting Places.
