    As a Marketing Performance Specialist, you will get the opportunity to work cross-functionally at a global level, support IKEA marketing teams around the world, bring together multiple sources of data to inform business decisions, and be recognized as a critical point person for marketing performance analysis within the global Marketing team. How to strengthen the IKEA brand and how to use the information to create and scale strong marketing tactics and engaging solutions would be two of your main interests.

    To be successful in this role, you will be tracking delivery against content and engagement goals in order to help performance across multiple channels and across countries. You are comfortable working with different kinds of data and have proven advanced training in marketing, communications, business management, data analytics, or equivalent. For at least 5 years, you have been working in Marketing, Strategic Planning, Customer Engagement, Media Performance, or Data Analytics. You confidently with both quantitative and qualitative data and can easily convey a message to business stakeholders. This includes compiling and deriving business insights from multi-sourced performance data, as well as visualizing learnings and making impactful presentations. Preferably, you have a strong knowledge about the IKEA brand, concept, culture, values, and ways of working.

    Furthermore, you have knowledge and expertise in:
    • Global Brand Positioning and how it helps to differentiate the brand
    • Consumer and Customer insights
    • How to leverage data as well as performance measurement tools to produce analyses and actionable insights
    • How to implement change initiatives in collaboration with diverse stakeholders
    •Marketing analytics, performance evaluation, media and/or financial measurement.
    •Strong analytical techniques and evaluating multiple research sources to identify performance opportunities and drive business insights.
    •Strong background in managing stakeholder relationships and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
    •Advanced proficiency in statistical tools and software such as SQL, R, Python, and Excel.
    •Data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar.
    •Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.
    •Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
    •Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering impactful results.
    •Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

    Your responsibilities

    Key responsibilities will include:
    Advanced data analysis of the performance of marketing activities across countries
    Conduct in-depth analysis of using advanced analytical tools.
    Leverage multiple data sources to assess the performance of marketing activities and identify opportunities to either scale across countries or take learning and provide recommendations to improve future performance
    Support comprehensive reporting frameworks that provide regular and actionable insights into overall commercial performance and marketing contribution to that performance.
    Leverage data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar platforms to present findings clearly and compellingly.
    Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analysis and reporting processes.
    Identify gaps and opportunities to improve marketing performance follow up and reporting
    Work with country teams to improve and standardize the reporting of marketing performance
    Identify areas where data quality improvements are most needed, document use cases
    Identify new metrics improving the tracking and coaching of performance across countries
    Provide recommendations and support development and improved data enablement with global teams.
    Collaborate closely with Integrated Media, Customer Engagement/CRM, Data & Analytics, and Digital teams to align measurement strategies with broader Marketing objectives.
    Preparing Global Learning summaries together with performance roles across global Marketing team to provide strategic insights and recommendations for global direction
    Responding to ad-hoc requests, e.g.:
    Analyses requested across all countries of specific marketing efforts
    Collaborating with specific countries in following up new, interesting and/or unique activities generating high performance
    Preparing input to Marketing Performance Community and other global Marketing country calls.

    This role is based in Malmö.

    As a Marketing Performance Specialist, you will be part of the Global Marketing team, working closely with the Marketing Performance Leader and other Performance Specialists.

    Marketing is an important function within Growth & Marketing, which is responsible for driving customer demand, engagement, and loyalty for the IKEA brand by amplifying our commercial offer.

We bounce ideas back and forth, we challenge each other and we are crazy passionate about communication.
