About the area
Core Business Retail Concept is assigned to protect, expand, and develop the IKEA Concept and the IKEA Brand in existing and new markets. This includes sharing IKEA knowledge and learning across the franchise system.
Retail Concept consists of the following five areas: Brand & Marketing, Expansion, Learning, Retail Concept Operations and Retail Experience.
The Learning Technology area within Retail Concept Operations at IKEA is focused on developing and implementing cutting-edge digital solutions to support lifelong learning for our co-workers worldwide. By integrating technology, data, and user insights, we aim to create an engaging and effective learning environment that supports professional growth and operational excellence.
Job description
In your job as a Product Specialist you will support the global operations of our tools and platforms used in the learning content authoring process and provide guidance to users across the organisation. This role is critical to ensuring efficient operation for learning solutions production, driving business optimisations, managing support and requests, and enhancing product and platform usage to support learning and development at scale.
Your Impact
As the Product Specialist – Authoring tools and platforms, you will:
Support Global Operations: Act as a key point of contact for learning content designers and producers , providing guidance, troubleshooting, and support to ensure effective usage across the organisation.
Manage Requests and Releases: Manage access requests, ensuring timely resolution of issues, and coordinate release management processes, including collaborating with the community lead to communicate and plan for training for new features.
Key Responsibilities
Support the release process for updates, including testing, documentation, and communication of new features.
As a key member of the learning technology team, you will use your deep understanding of the learning content creation process and your hands-on experience in the existing authoring tools to identify improvement opportunities, take initiative to optimise usage, and lead operational processes to deliver impactful results.
About you:
You are passionate about enabling the development of our co-workers through digital capabilities. You thrive on building the knowledge and skills around technology for its users. You are data driven and have an understanding of agile methodologies.
To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable
A minimum of 5-year experience in designing and producing learning content through digital tools
At least 3-years experience with the Articulate suite and a plus with experience in other authoring tools
Experience with learning content management systems (LCMS)
Understanding of LCMS, LMS, and LXP platforms and how learning content is structured, published, and maintained across these systems

This role is full-time (40hours per week) and based in Malmö, Sweden. This role sits in Product Area Learning Technologies in Retail Concept Operations and reports to Product Area Manager.
