About the area
Operations Management works together with operations teams across Inter IKEA to lead and develop the overall IKEA operating model, and to enable strategic movements towards IKEA goals. It includes teams for business insights, capability and process development, strategy and roadmap, data and technology.
About the job
We are seeking an experienced Team Manager for our Monitoring Services team, you will play a crucial role in continuing our change journey in establishing a mature and well established monitoring footprint for our product and platform teams.
Key responsibilities for the assignment:
Lead a competent and high-performing team that inspires and empowers co-workers and associated partners, to perform to the best of their abilities and continuously develop in their assignments.
Together with the team, establish a well-functioning ways of working including stakeholder management.
Drive and take accountability to continue driving the change journey currently on-going
Responsible for recruitment, competence development, performance management, retention and succession plans for the team members
Accountable for Monitoring & Observability platforms, securing running business, development and partners associated within the area.
Drive consistency in practice, process, toolset, and architecture, promoting best practices and continuously benchmarking against industry standards
Accountable for strategic vision, roadmap and tactical execution
Support and take responsibility for the budgeting process for the area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background and knowledge within Monitoring & Observability and proven track record in team leadership.
About you
To be successful in this role you need to have a strong technical background with a genuine interest in people and supporting them to develop and grow in their assignments.
Driving and directing the technology aspects, including making sure the right value comes out of it, gives you a sense of success and energy in your daily work.
To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable:
Solid experience of platforms, architecture, and information management
Genuine people management skills & interest, both internally within the team but also outwards towards stakeholders and consumers
To drive consistency in practice, process, toolset, and architecture, promoting best practices and continuously benchmarking against industry standards
Experience and knowledge about Monitoring & Observability
Experience in how to work in large enterprises and the complexities that comes with it.

This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and based in Malmö, Sweden. This role sits in Operations Management, Service Management & Operations and reports to the IT Operations Manager.
