• The starting salary for this role is £29831.00 per annum, based on competence and experience.
• 39 Hours working 5 days per week including 2 weekends per month

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Experience in kitchen planning is advantageous, although not required and you have a strong passion for creating togetherness and coaching others.
• You are motivated to drive the business by ensuring an excellent guest experience to best place IKEA in the Kitchens market and to help inspire and engage co-workers to design the kitchen of our guest's dreams.
• Confidence to take personal initiatives and be open to change, with the ability to improve the competence of the team.
• Confident in using computer software.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Ensure all competence development initiatives grow our business and support sustainable long-term profitability, always considering the impact on our co-workers and guests, and ultimately leading to an excellent guest experience
• Actively coach and mentor kitchen co-workers through the sales co-worker learning offer, continually encouraging and reinforcing the required behaviours on the shop floor
• Actively promote the IKEA social and environmental commitment and work with your team to understand how, together, you can contribute to sustainability and inspire this to the guest
• Align with UK&IE Training Calendar and maintain detailed records via My Learning of the technical modules and Kitchens Specific training each co-worker has successfully achieved
• Actively support and develop co-operation with other functions, by sharing knowledge, and increasing the cross-functional understanding of Kitchens in the commercial team
• Ensure all kitchens co-workers fully understand the causes of sad flow and follow the correct procedures to ensure they are minimised and continually improved
• Support the kitchens shopkeeper in raising the competence level of the kitchen team, and liaise with the store Competence Development Specialist to keep updated on the latest IKEA learning tools and methods
