Who you are

As People&Culture Manager of the IKEA headquarter in Austria you will be one of the faces representing People & Culture in IKEA Austria. You need leadership skills and will be managing succession planning, talent and competence development in the headquarter with about 280 co-workers and, connected to that, in the Remote Customer Meeting Point (RCMP) with 207 co-workers.

• You have an university degree and 4 years of related experience, or minimum 8 years of related work experience with a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience included.
• You have a proven record of business and financial acumen.
• You know how to build, maintain and thrive stakeholder relationships.
• You know how to deliver and optimize processes – set direction, create, and manage long-term plans and goals, and follow up on KPIs.
• You know how to plan, attract, grow, deploy, reward and support co-workers &
leaders and their careers.
• You know how to identify, assess, select and hire suitable candidates for
a job.
• You are a sparring partner for managers and coworkers and you know how to adress and resolve HR related topics.
• You are native German and fluent English

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive range of people and culture plans and budgets based on global guidelines that achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Support the continuous development of local leadership capabilities and support Managers about talent issues, including P&C onboarding requests, coaching on performance management, and other issues (e.g., multi-generational workforce).
• Participates and represents P&C in strategic business plan development and ongoing business decisions.
• Responsible for ensuring that the talent and succession goals and performance management for the assigned business areas are being achieved, providing advice and expertise to line managers to secure a quality and timely process.
• Identify, evaluate and monitor actual and potential labour issues evolving internally or externally that could create significant risks for IKEA.
• Identify and provide requirements to help with the development of P&C initiatives, to participate in the implementation of local P&C initiatives, and to support data entry and documentation handling at a local level to ensure compliance
• Implement a common way of managing co-worker relations issues on country level, delivering consistency and fairness in all our processes and actively performing an analysis of root causes in coordination with the Unit P&C Business Partner Managers
• Ensure budget approval for any personal data and mass data changes within the country and provide approval for contract extensions within the country and review benefits metrics and targets.
• Approve any changes to off-cycle compensation and pay equality scenarios and determine if the job and salary level will impact co-workers or other country level stakeholders, and creates an action plan to address the impacts.
• Manage involuntary and voluntary exits for co-workers based on guidelines and any legal requirements and participate in performance reviews and calibration sessions and PIP programs as needed
• Prepare report on industry trends and other data for key positions conversation with business and also for Talent for Growth conversations.

For this position we offer you a monthly gross salary starting from € 4110,- (on fulltime base incl. ALL In). We are willing to pay significantly more depending on experience and qualification.
