Your responsibilities
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be leading the Finance division of the store and be responsible and accountable for:
Identifying and evaluating business opportunities to enable the IKEA store to make optimum decisions
Securing the legal and fiscal compliance of the store operations concerning bookkeeping and accounting
Supporting all store functions to improve their performance – preparing ad-hoc reports and business analysis, supporting and coordinating the forecast and budget process
Preparing and Supervising the Annual Store Budget
Preparing and Supervising the Budget revisions twice per year
Preparing, following-up and validating the Store monthly P&L statements
Monitoring & following up all operating costs & P&L elements of the store
Securing that the store follows the financial routines so that the management, business steering and follow up processes of all departments in the store are efficient
Ensuring that all managers with budget responsibility are trained in understanding and monitoring financial reports in order to be able to carry their responsibilities
Negotiating and renewing in cooperation with the country manager store related contracts
Qualification
Your profile
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position, ideally in the high volume retail sector
University Degree (a Post Graduate degree will be considered as an asset)
Fluent command of the English language
Excellent use of MS Office, especially MS Excel
Previous use and very good knowledge of SAP, Qlikview, Navision will be highly appreciated
Analytical and numerical abilities
Very good planning, organizational and follow up skills and team oriented personality
Results oriented, initiative taking and problem solving skills
Team leading, good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
