Who you areAs the Business Risk & Compliance Manager, you lead a proactive risk management agenda, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. You protect IKEA co-workers, visitors, partners, customers, and assets from preventable loss or harm.
• Extensive experience in the area of safety and security and are familiar with crisis and risk management topics, and in a line manager role.
• Experience in a line management role.
• Knowledge of local/national laws on risk management, health, safety, and security.
• Familiar with crisis and risk management.
• Ability to communicate clearly, confidently and able to adapt to different target groups, both verbally and in writing.
• Adept in training and educating large audiences.
• Independent, responsible, and calm under stress.
• Strong analytical skills; fluent in French and English, German is a plus.
Your responsibilities
• Ensure safety and security for co-workers, customers, suppliers, and assets, through training, audits, inspections and follow up.
• Promote a risk-aware culture and support business growth, including analysis of incidents and trends, investigating the causes of these trends reporting them to management.
• Implement and drive health, safety, and security frameworks and trainings for co-workers, ensuring compliance with internal requirements and external regulations (national and local legislation).
• Coordinate Crisis Management Team activities and internal controls according to the IKEA Emergency Response rules.
• Maintain functional safety systems and handle incidents effectively, ensuring compliance with IKEA standards and national/local legal requirements.
• Work closely with the Management Team on sensitive matters such as harassment, misconduct, information security, and legal issues.
• Support unit profitability by managing insurance claims, reducing fraud, and safeguarding assets.
• Serve as the main contact for Risk & Compliance with authorities and public security.

It is important that you are flexible in terms of working hours. Early or late shifts within our opening hours and Saturday assignments will be part of your working schedule.
