Job description
Overall responsible for Sales and Accounts Receivable function. Provide Supporting Store Finance on daily Sales and collection reconciliations.
Ensure the daily sales reconciliation of E-commerce are done accurately and timely manner including the posting of sales statement in the accounting system.
Manage the platforms of e payments to reconcile commissions and deposits
Input billing/sales invoices and assign account code/ business dimension for each invoice and post into the accounting system in a timely and consistent manner.
Prepare and ensure timely billing to local and foreign customers including inter-companies.
Liaise with customers/banks on collections related enquires.
Liaise with banks for any issues related to collections.
Reconcile collections for banks and customers and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Generate customer aging report and follow up long outstanding receivables.
Reconciliation of monthly GL accounts and customer balances.
Assist Finance Manager/Assistant Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly reports and audit schedules.
Support and provide training to Store Accounting Assistant on daily sales and collections reconciliations.
Co-ordinate with SO/Store to ensure the agreed deadline on monthly closing and reporting is met.
Other ad hoc tasks related to Accounting and Finance.
Assist and prepare schedules and documents for statutory audit, internal audit or tax audit.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or related course
At least 3 years working experience on Accounts Receivable role
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge on Microsoft Dynamics MVBC will be an advantage
Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
Strong identification with IKEA culture and values
Passion for finding new and better ways of doing things and attention to details
Ability to work independently in a team and in a multinational environment, with minimal supervision
