The main assignment for Business unit Society & Community, is to amplify Älmhult together with society at large.
Job description
As a Health & Community generalist you are responsible for making sure that Aktivitetshuset is offering a strong and relevant base for health and community content and activities with high quality and a great customer experience.
This means being an active partner in, and for the rest of the community of Älmhult, enabling people to improve their feeling of belonging, share and enjoy common interests and activities together. Also contribute with knowledge and passion to improve the overall physical, mental and social health and wellbeing, to strengthen Aktivitetshuset, IKEA and Älmhult as an attractive place – today and tomorrow.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop, plan, run, coordinate and follow up content and activities in connection to Aktivitetshuset health & community offer and contribute to the function’s assignment and objectives.
- Coordination and execution of meetings and events, both physical and digital, in relation to the health and community offer.
- Work closely with relevant partners and communicate in correct channels, within the team and other relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible for development and maintenance of the trainers/facilitator pool.
Qualification
You are passionate about supporting and encouraging the community around you in creating healthy habits that are easy and available. You are also passionate about Älmhult as a community and the role Aktivitetshuset plays in spreading healthy habits to more of the many people.
With a solid knowledge in the physical, mental and/or social health area and with a positive solution-oriented attitude you are able to inspire others around you. You like to and have a good ability to collaborate with a diverse, both multi-cultural and multi-generational, group of stakeholders. You have the experience and knowledge of leading and initiating projects and initiatives in a structured and efficient manner using the PPS method.
You always lead with IKEA values first and find energy in working together, involving and co-creating when needed.
Communication in a clear and structured way is key, and you are fluent in both Swedish and English both in writing and verbally.
