IKEA of Sweden is situated in the very heart of the IKEA value chain. This is where we design and develop the IKEA home furnishing product range offer – our identity 

In the Range strategy and Identity function within Core Business Range, we have the task to, define, lead, and develop the Range & Communication strategy and set the direction for the Range and Product identity for our future range offer, to enable growth, positioning and to secure the IKEA business idea to come alive.  

We are now looking for a strategist with a sharp and creative business mind to join the strategy team within the Range Strategy & Identity function. 

As Range Strategist your main responsibility is to lead and develop strategic range and business directions that will enable the transformation of the IKEA product range offer.  

In this role we expect you to be a dedicated ambassador and speaker for the Range  

and communication strategy and IKEA unique identity. To give clarity, inspire, and to support key stakeholders and organizations across the IKEA value chain with guidance in strategic topics. Together, we believe that we can turn new opportunities into value for the many - challenge ourselves and create a growing business for IKEA.  

In the strategy team we are expected to cover a wide range of business topics that can vary over time and hence the interest and ability to successfully apply your strategic super-power regardless of business scope will be key. in our current portfolio you will find a number of directions aimed to evolve and strengthen the complete product range offer through the IKEA unique lens and how to make a more sustainable way of living more affordable and accessible to the many. We also lead and define the strategic CMF directions for IKEA.

• Able to lead in the unknown and in a complex environment  

This is a full-time permanent role based in Älmhult. 

The Range Strategist is critical role for the development of our business, and hence we believe that your presence with the team and in our workspace the majority of the time is important.
