    Your key assignment is to enable Inter IKEA Group companies in Sweden to engage and collaborate with schools and universities in order to build competence, nurture short- and longterm talent flow and contribute to building a strong IKEA Employer Brand among students and academia.  


    Job description

    As a Schools & Universities Partner your job is to enable activities, projects and collaborations with schools and universities that add value for the Inter IKEA business, either from a talent acquisition, competence flow or employer branding perspective. In the coming years, we need to widen the perception of IKEA as an employer, meet new talent in new ways to stay relevant and deepen our collaboration with academia to foster competence exchange and innovation. And you will be key in this!  

    On a typical working day, you will: 

    • Oversee a portfolio of projects and initiatives, project lead, coach, and follow up on progress 

    • Be the entry point and subject matter expert for business and student questions around our agenda connected to schools and universities (collaborations & projects, master’s theses, internships, student fairs etc) 

    • Meet with various internal stakeholder groups to advocate for, support and follow up on their student and schools engagements, ensuring visibility and integration in the business agenda 

    • Together with key stakeholders, continuously develop communication materials to ensure it’s up-to-date, relevant and reflecting the IKEA Brand for these target groups  

    • Project lead, run and follow up on events and workshops, from administration to logistics 

    • Meet with new partners and stakeholders to explore, evaluate and define new projects and ideas based on current and future business and competence needs  

     


    Qualification

    We think that you: 

    • Enjoy working on behalf of many different stakeholders, navigating priorities and expectations in a natural and efficient manner 

    • Have great communication and collaboration skills, with a knack for building trustful relationships 

    • Have excellent project management skills  

    • Thrive with both strategizing and getting things done  

    • Are motivated to work in and support developing a multi-cultural and diverse environment  

    • Are an independent self-starter who loves working with others to reach common goals  

    It’s a plus if you also: 

    • Have knowledge about IKEA culture and values, and share our passion to recruit on competence, values and potential  

    • Have passion for promoting IKEA and what we stand for, and has knowledge of our structure and business model  

    • Experience working with communication, marketing or similar work connected to brand positioning  

    • Are fluent in English and Swedish
