    In Supply Chain we continuously look for ways to strengthen our availability agenda, while taking costs out. In this role, you take lead for supply chain network optimization activities in IKEA Components, stretching from our suppliers, direct or via our operational units towards our buyers globally. From data analysis, we continuously are curios to identify opportunities to optimize and automate processes connected with our Supply Chain scope. In Supply Chain Development, we simulate supply chain performance & impact through advanced analytics & simulation, identifying risks and perform scenarios.  We work together with different stakeholders to achieve agreed availability at lowest possible cost.

    We are now looking for a Supply Chain Developer. If you get energy from influencing, interacting and working together to deliver great business results, this is probably a very interesting assignment for you!

    As Supply Chain Developer, you will amongst others:

    • Lead development & optimization in IKEA Components Supply Chain network, in close collaboration with Inter IKEA Design team.
    • Contribute to cost out and increased availability by optimization across our total network, including suppliers, our operations, stock locations and optimization of routes in our end-to-end network to our buyers.
    • Lead Business analyses, risk assessment, scenario planning and draw conclusions to support the right business decision and identification and prioritization of our development areas.
    • Continuously identify opportunities to generate more business value for IKEA
    • Optimize and automate tasks connected with our Supply Chain scope.
    • Contribute in the work to identify and ensure development from a business perspective based on our business plan direction, gap identification between here and now and our wished position.
    • Ensure stakeholder management towards our many stakeholders across Supply & IKEA Components

    As a person you have a passion for data, analysis and project leading in a global assignment. You get motivated by driving development of the business and do that together with others, to improve the total result. You get inspired by collaborating and using your communication skills. You like to develop business as well building trustful relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. 

    You have proven experience/knowledge and motivation in:

    • Supply Chain and world trade.
    • Project leadership & Business Case creation
    • Understanding of Supply Chain related processes, tools and systems
    • Solving problems through creative mindset
    • Investigate problems and propose resolutions
    • Background/experience working with supply chain design & optimization
    • Sharing knowledge, hosting workshops, promote best practice

    Furthermore:

    • Able to prioritize and sense of urgency
    • Ability to work operational and tactical level
    • Mindset of helping people and business
    • Experience with Power BI and/or Design/optimization or similar tools is merit.
