    IKEA DC Älmhult consists of 250 co-workers and is responsible for delivering home furnishings and accessories to our IKEA Stores in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. The purpose of the Unit Business Risk and Compliance Leader is to lead, steer and support the business by identifying and adequately mitigating risks and improve the overall level of compliance and efficiency.

    It is a great advantage if you also have:
    • Extensive knowledge of relevant health, safety and security policies, laws, standards, rules, manuals, tools and working methods.
    • A university degree within safety and security laws and legislations or/and have worked at least five years within the area.
    • Knowledge and understanding of risk assessment- and risk management process.
    • Are fluent in English and Swedish.

    OM DETTA ARBETSOMRÅDE

    You will lead a proactive and comprehensive agenda, focusing on health, safety and security, to ensure that all parts of the unit identify, assess, and proactively work to address these processes.

    As a Unit Business Risk and Compliance leader, you will:
    • Promote risk management in the unit.
    • Secure the implementation and follow through of Ingka Rules and Local legislation.
    • Conduct internal investigations, analyzing unit processes and data in collaboration with local and country stakeholders, to ensure compliance.
    • Create a Risk & Compliance culture by developing leadership and conscious approach in identifying and implementing systems to detect, analyze and reduce business losses, financial impact, prevent incidents and accidents.
    • Be the single point of contact for all the matters connected to Risk & Compliance when it comes to Authorities.
    • Plan for and ensure that Crisis Management training and ways of working are in place in accordance with the CMT working method and Country and Local CMT plans.
    • Be a strong business partner and support the unit stakeholders and management team.

    Customer Fulfilment has the global responsibility for making IKEA products & core services available for customers wherever and whenever they choose to buy them. IKEA Svenska AB is a crucial part of Customer Fulfilment with customer distribution units in Älmhult and Torsvik. We are responsible for delivering the IKEA range to customers and customer meeting points in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland within agreed quality, agreed time and at lowest possible costs.     You are expected to be on site in Älmhult; Monday to Friday; weekends are not included.
