Company description
At IKEA, we believe that sustainability is an essential part of creating a better everyday life for the many people. We're now looking for a Sustainability Developer to join our Category Food Logistics and help drive our environmental commitments forward with purpose and expertise.
Our supply chain world
In Supply Chain Operations, we lead, plan and execute the journey of IKEA products from suppliers to retailers. Our team of 1,000 co-workers across 15 global locations manages planning, replenishment, transport and logistics sourcing, and goods flow management with precision and care.
Within Category Food Logistics, we strive to build an integrated, automated, and modern supply chain that safely delivers IKEA Food products to our customers worldwide. We balance lowest cost and highest quality while maintaining a positive impact on people and planet. Our teams in Älmhult, Milano, Shanghai, King of Prussia, and Pratteln work together to make this possible.
What makes our approach unique is our dual responsibility: we both procure cold chain logistics services and operate the goods flow from suppliers to stores. This requires market proximity and operational expertise that sets us apart.
