    ABOUT THE ROLE
As an HFB Leader, you own and lead your Home Furnishing Business area, with full responsibility for developing the selling approach, defining the commercial strategy, and driving sustainable growth and profitability.

You will lead the Home Furnishing Business areas of Children’s IKEA, Lighting, and Bedroom and Bathroom textiles.

With a strong outside-in perspective, you continuously assess the market, customer expectations, and competitive landscape to ensure IKEA remains relevant, inspiring, and competitive.

    Your responsibilities

In this role, you are accountable for driving the commercial performance of your Home Furnishing Business area. You turn customer insights and market understanding into actions that strengthen our offer, grow the business, and enhance the customer experience across all channels.

    Your key focus areas include:
    · Drive business growth and increase market share by translating customer needs and insights into impactful commercial actions
    · Own and lead your HFB area, including sales strategy, range, pricing, and commercial activities across all channels
    · Analyze performance, build forecasts, and make data-driven decisions to secure results and act on deviations
    · Monitor competitors and market trends to ensure we stay relevant and competitive
    · Develop and implement commercial offers that improve customer experience and conversion
    · Inspire and develop colleagues across the organization to strengthen selling competence
    · Collaborate cross-functionally to create a seamless multichannel customer journey
    · Leading matrix of shop keepers down on the shop floor to maximize the commercial potentials within your areas
    · Challenge the status quo by bringing new ideas and ways of working to continuously improve the business

We are looking for a commercially driven and analytical leader who thrives on creating results through insight, action, and collaboration. A strong business mindset and motivation to turn customer understanding and market insights into growth and measurable results are key to succeeding in this role.

You bring solid experience from retail and commercial roles, and you are confident working with both strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment. You take ownership, prioritise effectively, and drive initiatives end-to-end with energy and accountability.

As a person, you are curious and forward-thinking, with a genuine interest in customers, trends, and life at home. Trust is built through strong communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across functions. At the same time, you challenge the status quo and bring new ideas to continuously improve the business.

    Relevant experience includes:
    · Strong experience within category management and/or commercial business development
    · Proven experience from retail
    · Solid analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actions
    · Experience in project management and driving initiatives end-to-end

    · A strong understanding of the local market, customers, and competitors
    · An outside-in perspective with a clear focus on customer needs
