You are a strong business partner and leader, combining solid legal expertise with a broad understanding of how our business operates. You enable responsible growth by bringing legal, risk and compliance perspectives into everyday decision‑making, empowering leaders to take informed risks and seize opportunities. In this role, you act as a clear role model and ambassador for IKEA values.

We value you for who you are and are curious about what you bring, your experience, your ambitions and your willingness to learn. Our culture and values are at the heart of what makes IKEA unique, both as a brand and as a workplace.

IKEA is a secure and responsible employer that offers competitive salary conditions. We have good pension and insurance schemes, staff discounts at IKEA and good opportunities to develop further at IKEA if you wish. We can offer a diverse and value-driven work environment – and we have fun together at work.

    • Act as a trusted advisor to Country Management, providing clear and actionable legal, risk and compliance insights
    • Identify, assess and mitigate key legal and business risks while supporting commercial opportunities
    • Lead crisis management and preparedness, securing robust routines, response plans and awareness across the organisation

    • Lead, inspire and develop a broad, multidiciplinary Legal, Business Risk & Compliance organisation and matrix within the country
    • Build strong cross‑functional partnerships and contribute actively to group initiatives and strategic agendas

    Who you are

You communicate with impact and confidence, effortlessly influencing decisions at senior levels. You think commercially and strategically, always grounded in strong integrity and ethical standards. You thrive in complexity and navigate ambiguity with ease in a fast‑moving retail environment. You naturally create strong networks and partnerships across functions, countries and external stakeholders, and you live and demonstrate IKEA values in everything you do.

    YOU ALSO BRING
    • A university degree in Law
    • Proven experience from a commercial and/or retail environment, ideally within a multinational organisation
    • A broad professional background spanning legal, governance, risk and/or compliance – going beyond a traditional legal scope
