  • Join one of the world’s most recognized brands and gain hands-on experience in a global, values-driven company. From January 15th to May 15th 2026, IKEA is opening its doors to students ready to explore, contribute, and grow through paid internships in key areas of our business.

    WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

    • A paid internship in a 40% position, giving you the flexibility to combine work and studies.
    • The chance to dive into real projects and discover how IKEA works with people, logistics, and business analysis, from the inside.
    • A warm and welcoming diverse workplace where you’ll be supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow both professionally and personally.
    • A unique opportunity to build your network, gain hands-on experience, and be part of a global brand that puts people first.
    • And one more thing: as a student stepping into the workplace, your fresh ideas, curiosity, and unique perspective will help shape the future of IKEA.

What you'll be doing day to day

    Where will your journey begin?

We’re offering internships in three exciting areas of our business. Each department plays a unique role in creating a better everyday life for the many people, and each offers a different perspective on how IKEA works behind the scenes. Whether you're passionate about optimizing supply flows, supporting financial planning and analysis, or driving people and culture initiatives, IKEA offers a dynamic environment where your ideas matter and your growth is supported.

Take a look and see where your interests and talents might fit best.

CUSTOMER FULFILMENT AT IKEA – THE LOGISTICS BEHIND A GREAT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Do you want to help make IKEA even more accessible for our customers? The Customer Fulfilment function ensures that the right product reaches the right customer – in the right way. We work with everything from warehousing and transportation to digital solutions that make it easy to shop online, pick up in-store, or have items delivered to your home.
As an intern, you’ll be part of a team that:
    • Optimizes the flow between warehouse, store, and customer
    • Develops smart and sustainable delivery solutions
    • Creates a seamless shopping experience – both physical and digital

Are you curious about how logistics can create value for both customers and society? Then this is the opportunity for you.

BUSINESS NAVIGATION – TURNING INSIGHTS INTO IMPACT

Do you want to help shape the future of IKEA through strategic insight and financial management?
At our Business Navigation department, we work to ensure that our resources are used in a smart and strategic way. We are responsible for coordinating the budgeting process across the entire organization, evaluating business initiatives, and monitoring financial performance. Through close collaboration with various functions, we contribute to sustainable and profitable growth, always with IKEA’s values and vision at its core.
As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how financial steering works in practice within a large international organization, and gain insight into how data and analytics are used to drive decisions and improvements.

PEOPLE & CULTURE - IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PEOPLE

    Do you believe in people?
Without available and knowledgeable co-workers, we are nothing. To give our customers the best possible service, People & Culture works on attracting, developing and retaining the people behind the furniture.
We believe that when people thrive, so does the business. That’s why we focus on creating an inclusive and inspiring workplace, where everyone feels valued and empowered to grow. People & Culture is all about enabling potential, whether it’s through recruitment, learning opportunities, leadership development, or simply making sure our co-workers feel seen and heard every day.
As an intern in People & Culture, one of your tasks will be to evaluate the internship experience across the departments participating in the internship program. Your insights will help us understand what works well and how we can improve the program for future interns.
