    • Who you are

    You have a passion for the customer and visual merchandising !
    We are looking for a new member of the Communication and Interior Design team (Visual Merchandiser).
    You will among other tasks work with home furnishing solutions in different areas of the store, with commercial shops, layout and products exposure. The work includes both planning, build up and daily maintenance in the store.

    You are have high interest in trends and an eye for esthetics, you are curios in the world around you and quick in thought. You are creative, quickly adapting trends and full of ides. You have a flexible and hands-on approach. Rewarding is experience from similar assignments, retail and has relevant education. You want to work within a value-based company, securing the IKEA Brand but being able to be creative within the framework. You should contribute to a world class customer experience.

    We value a person who is open, driving & leading yourself and full of initiatives. You have an engagement and commitment to work in a truly flexible way, with different tasks, in different places. Important also is your engagement, motivation, willingness to learn and ability to deliver.

    Your responsibilities

    Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
    Applying your home furnishing knowledge to update IKEA store media, specialty shops and other store media that exceed our visitors’ expectations.
    To make it easy for the costumer to compare, choose and be inspired thru your knowledge in visual merchandising.
    Stimulating and increasing the interest for home furnishing through constantly showing new and inspiring solutions that motivate people to visit the IKEA store frequently.
    Using the richness of the IKEA product range to show distinct and different styles that appeal to many individual tastes and needs.

As a part of the Com&In team in Borlänge you use your deep knowledge of people’s life at home and your high level of home furnishing competence to show many functional, beautiful sustainable and affordable solutions that are relevant to your local market. You also challenge and encourage the many people to see their homes in new ways.

    The position is parttime, 30,75 h/w and temporary during 1 year. Good possibilities for prolongation.
