    Job description

    The core task of the IT Coworker is to ensure uninterrupted and efficient IT services to be provided to co-workers and to maintain and operate IT infrastructure, systems and IT services.

    • Ensure all IKEA IT operations in all units within the market are running smoothly
    • Support and resolve IKEA coworker’s hardware and applications related issues and requests
    • Coordinate and communicate with IKEA vendors and service office IT colleagues to work together on IT related implementation and issue resolution
    • Maintain and monitor IT assets such as workstations, Laptops, Printers and Data Center Hardware
    • Maintain agreed internal SLAs connected to IT services
    • Monitor daily backups of IKEA
    • Monitoring and recording all IT Asset and hardware for audit purposes
    • Provide input on what IT equipment/products/services might be in risk of downtime and suggest solutions to ensure the business continuity plan is secured for all critical business operations
    • Perform preventive maintenance and routine monitoring to include creation and follow-up of a service
    • Schedule for fixed assets, daily and weekly review of all applicable monitoring tools to identify and avoid potential business interruptions
    • Take necessary decisions and actions to solve issues, as well as prioritize issues according to business needs, and know when and how to escalate an issue in the support chain

    Qualification
    • Up to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering
    • Experience in working in internal or sourced IT Helpdesk
    • Excellent troubleshooting and issue handling
    • Controlling data centre and troubleshooting experience
    • Should have an experienced background of how to handle switches, computers, laptops and corporate servers
    • Communication skills and ability to understand user's issues and problems
