    • Who you are

    As a person, you are analytical, structured and curious about how business performance can be improved in a retail unit. You enjoy working with data, trends and operational realities to understand what is happening in the business and what actions can support better results.
    You are comfortable preparing clear analysis and recommendations for leaders and stakeholders, helping them understand performance, risks, opportunities and possible ways forward. You know how to connect numbers with business context and translate insights into practical actions.
    You enjoy working close to the business, supporting follow-up of sales, costs, operational performance, resource usage and business initiatives with a total performance perspective.

    You bring:
    • Good understanding of business analysis, business navigation, controlling, finance, operations or similar business topics
    • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to prepare reliable insights, plans and recommendations that support business decisions
    • Curiosity to understand business performance, identify trends, opportunities and risks, and translate them into clear actions
    • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain analysis and recommendations in a simple and relevant way for different stakeholders
    • Ability to work with leaders and stakeholders to support performance follow-up, business planning and development of business initiatives
    • Ability to evaluate different solutions and recommend practical, cost-effective ways forward

    What you'll be doing day to day

    As Business Navigation Analyst, you will support IKEA Timisoara leaders and stakeholders with analysis, insights and recommendations that improve decision-making and business performance.
    You will help connect business data with operational reality, supporting the unit in understanding performance, identifying opportunities and choosing the best way forward.

    In this role, you will:
    • Prepare, distribute and communicate reliable and relevant analysis, insights, plans and recommendations within your area of responsibility, working closely with key stakeholders.
    • Support business leaders with performance follow-up by analysing results, trends, risks and opportunities, and translating them into clear recommendations.
    • Contribute to the development of business opportunities, projects, initiatives, new technologies and innovations with a total performance perspective and business case thinking.
    • Monitor and support steering of business and operational activities to help fulfil goals for relevant stakeholders.
    • Assess new ways of working and improvement opportunities, advising on actions in a clear and inspiring way.
    • Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most applicable and cost-effective options.

    Advanced English and Romanian language skills are required for this role.
