    In this job it is a requirement that you have a forklift license and experience with driving both reach and counter balance forklifts.

    In addition, you most likely:
    • Have experience within logistics and working in a warehouse.
    • Can prioritize and organize your own and the teams work to make efficient use of time.
    • Are good at creating an overview.
    • Are organized and detail oriented.
    • Have good communication skills in English (as English is our everyday language).
    • Are enthusiastic about working in a team.
    A day in your life with us
    As a Forklift Driver you play an important part for IKEA’s stores and customers, because you and your team make sure our home furnishing solutions and accessories are always accessible for our customers.

    Your tasks will be:
    • Receiving and handling goods by unloading trucks and loading goods into the warehouse.
    • Retrieving goods from drop-zones and making sure to match them to the right locations in the warehouse.
    • Allocating good from from storage locations to sales locations.
    • Working together and following up with colleagues to keep the warehouse fully stocked.
    • Handling of goods and stock taking, as well as updating IT systems accordingly.
    • Proactively securing the safety of your colleagues in your working area.
    • Maintenance of machinery and cleaning up the department.

    Here you will become part of an international team of both fulltime and part-time employees that work towards a common goal. We secure an efficient goods flow of the warehouse and provide good customer service, even though we do not have direct customer contact. We work closely together with all departments, and consequently you gain experience in collaborating with many different types of people.     Further information
    • This position is for an average of 37 hours per week.
    • Your working hours will be: One week of 4 shifts 13:00 to 23:00, and one week of 3 shifts 14:00 to 22:00 plus weekend (Saturday 14:00 to 22:00, Sunday 9:15 to 18:00).
    • Salary and terms of employment follows 3F's Logistics union agreement and includes pension- and free choice allowance as well as odd hour payment.
