Our Customer Distribution Centre, located in Hedehusene, plays a central role in IKEA Denmark. We are looking for an operationally oriented Team Leader for our evening shift in Picking, who is also capable of taking a helicopter perspective to prioritize, delegate, and follow up on tasks. You are reliable and know that your team is your greatest resource. You thrive in a busy environment, and your strong leadership ensures that you maintain an overview. To succeed in this role, we expect you to:

• Have a passion for leading the business through people and have a strong belief in the individual potential to develop.

• Have experience as a leader or trainee, preferably in logistics and/or warehousing.
• Express yourself effortlessly in English, both written and spoken.
• Be flexible in your working method.
• Have experience working with routines and creating structure in a busy workday, both for yourself and your employees.
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading our evening team in Picking, consisting of 40-50 people. There are two Team Leaders for this team, so you will also cooperate, align, and agree on goals with the other Team Leader. This must be done through competent leadership, where the both of you, together with your team, ensure a well-functioning picking process for the benefit of many people.

Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

• Daily and weekly resource and equipment planning.
• Onboarding and securing leadership on the floor.
• Leading and steering the continuous update of the Unit internal service agreement.
• Facilitating operational trainings.
• Performance evaluation and development of Co-workers.

Further information
•The position is full time on an individual contract. Overtime is reflected in the salary.
• Salary within IKEA's salary policy.
• Working hours primarily in the time frame of 13:00-22:30, both week days and weekends. You will have influence over your own working hours in accordance with the business.

• Start date: 1st of april 2025 or by agreement.
