    A day in your life with us

    At IKEA, we sell a wide range of furniture and accessories, which can be anything from beds, sofas, and wardrobes to textiles, shelves, storage solutions, and decorative products.

    We are currently hiring employees for several departments, so you should be able to see yourself in one of the following departments: Children, Bedrooms, or Textiles.

    Your daily tasks will include:

    • Advising and inspiring our customers based on their individual needs and wishes
    • Handling goods and setting up sales areas to ensure that the items are easily accessible to customers
    • Ensuring that displays and the department always appear presentable and inspiring
    • Collaborating with other functions and departments in the store.

    You will become part of a team of both full-time and part-time employees in our warehouse. We work closely with other departments, giving you experience in collaborating with many different people. We have a great sense of togetherness, where we support each other and work together as a team. Therefore, there is room for you to be exactly who you are, and you have the opportunity to create a strong social network.     Additional information

    • Working hours are 30 hours per week on average.
    • Your working hours are primarily within the hours 9-20, and you should expect to have 1-2 closing shifts per week and work every other weekend, both Saturday and Sunday. It is possible for you to provide input to the work schedule
    • Salary according to HK’s retail agreement, including pension and choice scheme as well as shift allowances
    • We offer various employee benefits including health insurance, massage services, a canteen arrangement, employee discounts, partner discount programs, an annual gift, a bonus plan etc.
    • There may be a requirement to present a criminal record during the hiring process
    • Desired start date is soon as possible or by agreement
