As Market Sales & Customer Experience Manager your responsibilities include but are not limited to • Lead the customer & selling assignment and unit strategy and be accountable for its performance. • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of sales and customer service leaders and co-workers, ranging in experience and skill levels. Foster an environment that prioritises customer satisfaction while promoting a culture of continuous learning and development. Ensure the team has the tools, knowledge, and motivation to achieve set goals. • Work hands-on and be fully engaged on the shopfloor, providing direct support to co-workers and customers when needed. Ensure smooth daily operations by leading through people and offering real-time guidance. • Collaborate with the Commercial team to translate broader business action plans to operational goals. Set clear, measurable objectives for the team, track progress, and identify performance gaps. • Oversee resource allocation, including people planning and budgeting, to ensure operational efficiency. Work with the leadership team to manage budgets effectively, ensuring that the resources are optimally distributed. • Secure that local market, customer, consumer and competitor insights are used to identify local market potential and continuously improve sales performance and omnichannel customer experience. • Monitor individual and team performance to achieve goals and objectives, identifying and implementing corrective action where necessary. • Periodically take on Duty responsibilities, acting as the Store Manager to ensure the safety of visitors, customers and co-workers.
To be considered for this role, experience in the following is essential: • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in leadership or management within commercial functions. • Extensive experience working in a fast-paced, omnichannel retail environment, with a strong understanding of operational processes and floor management. • Proven effective business acumen and strong understanding of profit and loss. • Successful skills in problem solving, conflict management and people development. • Skilled in making commercial decisions based on market data. • Experience of Omnichannel customer experience.
