    • Knowledge of food safety standards.
    • Customer-oriented with strong team leadership and work process organization skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of the Slovenian language and basic to advanced knowledge of English.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours (shift work, work on Saturdays).

    What you'll be doing day to day

    • Leading and motivating the team of employees in the IKEA Food department.
    • Organizing and overseeing daily operations (restaurant, bistro, staff canteen, kitchen).
    • Ensuring an excellent customer experience in line with IKEA values and food safety regulations.
    • Planning and optimizing work schedules while ensuring the right support for the team.
    • Monitoring sales performance and implementing activities to achieve set goals.
    • Ensuring proper product presentation and effective stock management.
    • Onboarding new employees and conducting regular training sessions with a focus on food safety, quality, and work efficiency.
    • Actively collaborating with other departments (e.g., logistics, purchasing, marketing) to successfully execute promotions and campaigns.
    • Handling customer requests and complaints professionally.
    • Implementing safety and hygiene standards and ensuring compliance with legislation.
