Additional information: • We currently have two (2) Permanent Part-time positions available, 24 hours per fortnight. • Applications close Thursday 20th November 2025 • If your application is progressed, you will be contacted and invited to an in-person interview on 24th-25th November 2025 • As our store operates seven days per week, you must be available to work a rotating roster, including a mix of day and evening shifts. You must also be available to work three out of four weekends per month (both Saturday and Sunday).
About this work area
As a Customer Co-worker, you are the friendly face that ensures every customer’s visit ends as positively as it begins. You contribute to creating a welcoming and smooth shopping experience by providing efficient service, accurate information, and genuine care at every touchpoint.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Greeting visitors and providing friendly, efficient information and support. • Securing that all products leaving through the entrance are paid for. • Supporting other areas of Customer Relations by resolving service issues, maintaining shopping tools (baskets, trolleys, and yellow bags), and ensuring catalogues are available. • Assisting customers with home delivery bookings and click & collect pickups. • Processing returns and resolving customer issues, recognising when to escalate to a team leader or authorised co-worker. • Handling cash and card payments accurately, efficiently, and in a friendly manner. • Recording information correctly in the system to support continuous improvement of the customer experience. • Ensuring customers have a positive final touchpoint when leaving IKEA.
