• 2-3 years of office or administrative experience within a retail or customer service environment • Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Experience with front desk operations and multi-line phone systems • Demonstrated ability to manage calendars, schedule appointments, and organize files effectively • Strong clerical skills including typing, proofreading, data entry, and filing • Bilingual proficiency preferred to enhance communication with diverse customers • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting • High School Diploma or equivalent
What you'll be doing day to day
• Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and directing inquiries professionally, ensures adherence to IKEA’s access control policies by monitoring co-worker entrance • Provides excellent service to customers and co-workers through effective communication and problem resolution • Performs administrative and reception duties associated with co-worker programs • Dispatches Risk and Compliance Team or EMS as needed • Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and multi-line phone systems efficiently with courteous phone etiquette to ensure timely & prompt responses • Maintain accurate data entry and filing systems for customer records, invoices, and reports • Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks and perform basic accounting tasks • Assist with office management duties such as supply ordering, document proofreading, and organizing files • Utilize Microsoft Office tools for report creation, correspondence, and documentation

The hourly pay range for this role is $19.91 - $28.12
