Job description
Your assignment
You ensure that daily sales reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
You make sure that all posted amounts in statements are properly supported by valid documents.
You investigate and validate any material discrepancies in coordination with the Cash Office and Customer Relations.
You prepare the monthly cash discrepancy report.
You generate localized reports each month for archiving.
You prepare and ensure the accuracy of the eSales file for monthly BIR submission.
You reconcile monthly General Ledger (GL) accounts.
You assist the Store Accounting Manager in preparing monthly reports and audit schedules.
You handle the archiving of accounting documents.
You perform other ad hoc tasks related to accounting and finance.
Qualification
Your profile
You have a strong desire to keep everything organized and structured.
You are motivated to ensure compliance with both internal and external rules and regulations.
You consistently look for the most pragmatic yet compliant way of working.
You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related course.
You are knowledgeable about local legislation and corporate requirements for documentation and archiving.
You have at least two years of work experience in the retail industry using a computerized accounting system.
You are fluent in both Filipino and English.
You possess good computer literacy.
You demonstrate great attention to detail.
You can work independently while being an effective team player in a multinational environment.
You are capable of performing well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
You can manage multiple tasks and set clear priorities.
You thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
