    About the job

    • Lead and inspire the team to ensure goods availability, efficient low-cost processes, and high-quality perception.
    • Enhance the customer shopping experience through high goods availability, customer-centric service operations, and a safe store environment.
    • Support individual development and business expansion with a robust succession plan for key positions.
    • Synchronize supply and commercial needs to achieve optimal customer perceived availability across all sales channels at the lowest cost.
    • Integrate global supply/logistics strategies into the country’s fulfilment approach for end-to-end optimization and function as an active partner in the country’s commercial team to ensure a high level of commerciality and great customer experience.

    Your assignment

    • Lead and inspire the team by providing necessary tools, methodologies, and functional competence.
    • Identify and develop talents within the organization, ensuring long-term competence building and succession plans.
    • Participate in the Global fulfilment network, contributing to strategic direction, growth, and profitability.
    • Convert the country’s business plan into fulfilment actions and goals to maximize growth.
    • Integrate fulfilment considerations into the commercial calendar to maximize stock availability at the lowest cost.
    • Ensure fulfilment capacity requirements are integrated into the country expansion plan.
    • Develop the customer fulfilment business through innovations in technology, process improvement, and people development.
    • Manage logistics costs and initiate actions to reduce costs, contributing to the total value chain results.
    • Set clear goals and expectations and ensure compliance with internal and external laws/rules.
    • Nurture a strong IKEA culture that values diversity and inspires extraordinary achievements.
    • Secure purchasing within fulfilment according to the Procurement policy, ensuring compliance with sourcing requirements.
    • Actively participate in creating the store business plan and align logistics and recovery actions with country strategies.
    • Monitor performance and take actions to achieve growth, budget, and performance goals.
    • Ensure compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal regulations, and local legislation.
    • Contribute to a people and planet positive business, social connection, and environmental impact.

     


    Qualification
    • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, overseeing large teams (100+ headcount) in warehouse and/or retail store environments.
    • Comprehensive experience in the logistics process, including strategic logistics planning.
    • Understand how to recruit, lead, manage, and develop talent to build high-performing teams and secure future succession.
    • Understand budget, cost, and key performance measurements to plan, follow up, and steer the business.
    • Understand the business plan processes at regional, country, and store levels, and how to integrate fulfilment priorities.
    • Understand capacity planning, analyze future needs, and formulate actions to meet these needs at the lowest total cost.
    • Understand how other store and service office functions contribute to successful customer fulfilment operations.
    • Know what logistics knowledge to contribute within the commercial team to raise overall commerciality across all sales channels.
    • Understand the IKEA Code of Conduct, regulations, and legislation relating to health, safety, and security.
    • Knowledge of the IKEA Concept description, including the vision, business idea, culture, and values.
    • Know the IKEA Commercial Review process and support continuous development based on learning/results.
    • Integrate the eight IKEA Key Values in interactions with store and service office teams and other stakeholders.
    • Lead by fostering team and stakeholder engagement to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Build trust and communicate clearly with different people in various situations.
    • Manage a high-volume, agile retail environment to achieve desired results.
    • Deliver with speed, simplicity, and flexibility, even in unpredictable situations.
    • Follow up and optimize operational performance while considering tactical plans.
    • Develop others through support, coaching, and training, while securing personal development.

    This role requires flexibility in work hours, depending on store operational requirements.
