    Job description
    • Develop the market search and social media strategy and framework with clearly defined objectives, contribute to and implement the strategic plan, evaluate the progress and make any necessary adjustments if needed.
    • Plan and implement the social content calendar and search strategies by working closely with the Marketing team, Sales, Web/e-commerce teams to achieve business and commercial goals, drive web and store visits, increase home furnishing interest and elevate awareness / personality of the IKEA brand.
    • Ensure optimal reach, engagement and frequency (spends) across social platforms, outreach to bloggers and influencers.
    • Plan and implement the development of search engine optimisation for the country.
    • Stay on top of trending topics while finding IKEA’s voice and foothold in each scenario, social media reactions, comments and queries are to be monitored while working with CCC for needed actions to be taken and responses are given in an acceptable time frame – especially when there is a crisis.
    • With the support of media agency, measure, report and follow up on the results of all search and social media activities, then make recommendations and implement actions to improve results.
    • Ensure that all executions are aligned with IKEA Brand Values and the IKEA Brand copy identity guidelines to secure that the results are consistent, relevant, engaging and unique with IKEA’s tone of voice and executions that has great twinkle in the eye.
    • Contribute to the budget planning process and take responsibility in all administrative matters relating to budgeting, monthly reconciliation with Finance teams, and re-forecasting assignments
    • Secure proper and effective tools and knowledge are set, e.g. for media tracking, social media accounts and content publishing, photoshop/in-design, etc.
    • Provide online user insights and analytics to support country marketing and its local relevance in their development of marketing plans and strategies.
    • Secure purchasing in your function is made according to the principles defined in the Procurement Policy: Operational participation in procurement projects. Compliance of sourcing requirements, IWAY Working Method and signed agreements.
    • Support in any other ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned.

    Qualification
    • Highly self-motivated with a passion for social media communication and SEM/SEO to drive results with consistent messaging.

    • Deep knowledge of trends, proven solutions, translating global into local market relevant/regional solutions that influence home furnishing and retailing.
    • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, understanding of media technicalities, knowledge of country social media trends including content production.
    • Deep knowledge of search engine marketing and optimisation, understanding of technicalities, and insights to online traffic generation.
    • Expert Knowledge of operational plans and goals as well follow up on KPI’s.
    • Knowledge of job related software and social media platforms.
    • Knowledge of relevant artificial intelligence (AI) platforms.
    • Knowledge of organisation strategies, priorities and business plan process.
    • Knowledge of IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision, tone of voice.
    • Knowledge of leadership capabilities.
    • Expert about customers' living situations as well as their needs and frustrations in their everyday life at home in order to translate that into strong messaging.
    • Budgetary experience – evaluate, monitor, follow-up and adjust as needed
    • Ability to work in fast moving stressful environment and deliver business goals. Ability to take holistic view of the organisation and identify business opportunities.
    • Possess a creative mindset and ability to challenge common ways of thinking.
    • Flair for social media content production, copy writing with IKEA’s twinkle in the eye messages with good eye for creatives and layouts
    • Driven by generating efficiencies, customer insights, trends and media effectiveness, in line with agreed metrics, KPIs and ROIs
    • Ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of commerciality as an integrated part of the business.
    • Good leadership capabilities including ability to lead peers and stakeholders while communicating in an inspirational way with IKEA tone of voice.
    • Strong ability to communicate and share creative ideas, concepts and solutions and combine commercial, aesthetics and practical skills.
    • Ability to follow up and measure performance of output and capture learnings to improve and moving forward.
    • Has the customers’ interest at heart, be service minded and have a great sense of urgency.
    • Create a trustful and creative environment.
