    Job description
    1. Lead the store goods flow team and work with the Country Fulfilment Operations Manager and store commercial team to secure the highest goods availability at all time and at the lowest possible total cost.
    2. Secure an effective, qualitative, and efficient operation within the store's goods flow processes in order to guarantee a great customer shopping experience through commercial looking sales locations, product quality, stock accuracy, efficient picking and on-time handover to transport service provider.
    3. Identify, recruit, retain and develop the many talents in the goods flow team to secure a diverse, competent team that can execute its assigned responsibilities with confidence and secure succession for the future.
    4. Work closely with the store Fulfilment & Experience Manager and Sales & Supply Support Manager to secure correct usage of short and mid-term capacity of the store, in order to maximize efficient logistics operations with the right balance of inbound and outbound volume. As well, plan for future needs by considering space, equipment, and people as part of the store capacity plan.
    5. Contribute with relevant goods flow input and feedback to the store business plan and logistics action plan, considering future needs of space, equipment, and people. Ensure that these actions are implemented in the inbound and outbound goods flow processes.
    6. Ensure an effective communication flow to relevant stakeholders in all goods flow process related topics. Share knowledge with colleagues and relevant stakeholders, to support their understanding on how to achieve an excellent customer experience.
    7. Ensure relevant governing documents describing ways of working both internally and with external stakeholders are shared, understood, and implemented by the goods flow team.
    8. Through your everyday work, you contribute to a people and planet positive business, social connection, and environmental impact by taking relevant actions that contribute to achieving long-term profitability and a positive brand perception in a sustainable and environmentally conscious way.
    9. Ensure that the goods flow team works in compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety, security and the environment.
    10. Live the IKEA Values and nurture a strong and thriving IKEA Culture that inspires colleagues to reach extraordinary achievements in the store and especially the goods flow team.

    Qualification
    • Fulfilment performance monitoring, how KPI's are used to monitor business performance and how they influence each other.
    • Knowledge of working methods preventing goods' damage during all In-store goods flow processes.
    • Knowledge of techniques of effective merchandising principles that make it easy to shop and keep sales spaces full and attractive.
    • Knowledge of creating, following, and maintaining guiding framework documents with internal and/or external stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of the process for allocating products to sales locations in the IKEA store.
    • Understand how to actively use IKEA Toolbox, My Learning and other learning materials to support competence development.
    • Knowledge of standard operating procedures for forklift drivers, and their purpose to keep all co-workers safe and secure during logistics operations.
    • Knowledge of ways of planning Logistics resources and processes (e.g. staff, organizational structure, equipment, in-delivery schedule) in accordance with potential sales scenarios.
    • Understand how to lead and manage in order to build high performing teams and secure succession for the future.
