About the job

To support the customers of the new IKEA Order Point and develop sales in an efficient and effective way by establishing and retaining a long-term relationship with existing customers and attracting new customers. You will do this by using knowledge of the IKEA range, local market and customers.

Your assignment

• Drive sales by active selling and sales steering.
• You ensure your work area is effective for the customers’, and cost-efficient for IKEA.
• Provide customers with the consultancy of IKEA home furnishing solutions through planning that match with their expectations and projected budget.
• Optimise the IKEA shopping experience to secure satisfied customers and increase sales.
• Find new customers or new opportunities to generate sales.
• Maintain contact with all customers to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Receive and resolve customer complaints and problems efficiently and with empathy.
• You handle payments in an efficient, accurate and friendly way. You always aim to create a positive experience for our customers so they will want to return and shop with us again and again.
• Control vendors on customer delivery plan to meet the schedule and achieve customer satisfactory.

Your profile

• Passion and knowledge of home furnishing, interior design and retail.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, customer-focused and service industry.
• Ability to take personal initiatives and priorities and organise your own work efficiency.
• Confident in approaching and talking to people in a proactive manner.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work on weekends and/or public holidays when required.
• Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

This role requires flexibility in work hours, depending on store operational requirements. Working on public holidays and weekends.

Notes

The initial onboarding and training of selected candidates will take place in IKEA Pasay City. Hence, candidates should consider and be willing be assigned to the Plan and Order Point, Quezon City
