IKEA Reading are looking to welcome a Kitchen assistant to join our delightful and hardworking team food team.


A food kitchen assistant prepares food, cooking simple dishes, maintaining cleanliness, storing food properly, and helping with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.


WHAT WE OFFER

• Start date of employment will be: 22nd of March 2025
• Competitive hourly rate of £13.25 per hour.
• 30 Hours, working 5 days per week and includes weekends. Requirement to do some 6am shifts through the week. Shifts scheduled between the hours of 6am and 9pm You will receive every 4th weekend off.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Experience in a fast pace kitchen environment preparing and cooking dishes is required.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
• Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older.
