    Additional Information:
    • This role is Permanent Part-time, 60hrs/fortnight
    • $29.71 base hourly pay rate
    • The Hiring Manager for this role is Geoff Lawrence – Customer Operations Manager

    • This role requires the availability to be rostered shifts between 8:30am – 10:00pm, as well as three out of four weekends.

    About this work area

    As Customer Coordinator your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Together with the team, establishing a mindset of a first time right for every customer that chooses to shop with us.
    • Supervising the daily operation of the team to ensure a positive customer journey.
    • Liaising with leaders and providing feedback on daily areas of team performance and functional activities.
    • Securing the daily operations for co-workers and customers while troubleshooting and providing solutions and corrective actions where needed.
    • Optimising the shopping journey of our visitors to IKEA by collaborating with all functions to increase co-worker competence and knowledge to ensure customers receive consistent information throughout their shopping journey.
    • Deliver training programs and workshops and provide co-workers with one-on-one support to secure competence, development and the achievement of learning objectives and department related goals.
    • Recording information accurately in the relevant systems to make improvements to the customers’ future shopping experiences.



    As a Customer Coordinator you are or have:
    • Looking to develop and grow with IKEA and invested in your own development.
    • Motivated to continuously uphold and improve the customer journey to create an unforgettable and rewarding experience for all our customers.
    • Confident in multitasking, being able to coordinate co-workers, delegate tasks and prioritise workload to achieve the best outcomes for the co-workers, customers, and business.
    • Have exceptional attention to detail, problem solving, process improvement skills and able to remain calm and assertive under pressure.
    • Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced, customer service orientated environment is desirable.
    • Adaptable and energetic, with strong verbal and written communication skills for successful stakeholder and customer management.
    • Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the required systems and tools.
