Additional information: • These roles are Permanent, Full Time, 76 hours per fortnight • You must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts between the hours of 7:30 and 10pm . You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).

As an IKEA Food Team Leader, your responsibilities will include: As a Food Team Leader, your responsibilities will include: • Working side by side with your team of co-workers, coaching, developing, and leading by example to champion customer-centric, service-minded approach. • Maintaining a high level of quality, operational, cleaning, and food safety standards. • Ensuring training compliance and daily operational routines are always in place and accurately recorded. • Ensuring that both the front and back of house areas of the Food departments are efficiently maintained, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience. • Presenting the food range in an inspiring way and leading your team to have strong food range knowledge and be confident active sellers. • Supporting and leading change within the Food team and with stakeholders in the wider store.
As a Food Team Leader you: • Have a minimum of one year of experience in a leadership role (with direct reports) within hospitality, restaurants, fast food, or retail. • Are familiar with kitchen operations, knowledgeable about food safety and HACCP, and are comfortable leading the daily workflow in a fast-faced, high-volume operation. • Are a strong and confident communicator who supports the team around them, and champions the IKEA values with every interaction. • Are excited to grow, develop, and build your career with IKEA.
