Additional information: • This role is Permanent Part-time (60hrs/fortnight) • You will work on a rotating roster between 8:00am - 9:30pm on weekdays, and 3 out of 4 weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).

About this work area
As an IKEA Food Co-worker, you'll be a versatile member of the team, supporting operations across all areas of the IKEA Food department. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Receiving, unloading, replenishing and rotating food stock in accordance with food safety and inventory procedures. • Performing manual handling activities including lifting, moving, stacking and storing stock safely and efficiently. • Supporting stock control processes, inventory checks and maintaining accurate stock records. • Assisting with food preparation, food production and service while following production plans and food safety requirements. • Working across the kitchen, customer restaurant, Swedish Food Market, dishwashing and back-of-house areas as required. • Maintaining clean, safe and organised workspaces, storage areas and customer-facing environments. • Operating equipment such as manual pallet jacks and other approved handling equipment. • Providing friendly, efficient customer service and supporting customers with their food and dining experience. • Following IKEA Food and HACCP standards to ensure compliance with food safety, quality and operational requirements.
As an IKEA Food Co-worker, you are or have: • A reliable and hands-on team player who enjoys physical work and staying active throughout your shift. • Comfortable working across multiple areas of the business and adapting to changing operational priorities. • Experienced in stock replenishment, warehousing, logistics, retail operations, food production, hospitality or similar fast-paced environments. • Physically capable of performing manual handling activities, including lifting, carrying, unpacking, stacking and stock rotation throughout the day. • Safety-focused, with a strong commitment to following food safety, workplace safety and operational procedures. • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage stock, inventory tasks and daily routines accurately. • Customer-focused and willing to support both back-of-house operations and customer-facing activities when required. • Comfortable using basic computer systems for inventory, stock management and operational tasks.
