Additional Information: • What you need to know • This role is Permanent Part-time, 60hrs/fortnight. • Applications close Thursday 11 September 2025 • You must be available to work a rotating roster with shifts scheduled between the hours of 8:00am and 9:30pm, and be available to work 3 out of 4 weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).

About this work area
As Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Assisting customers and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions. • Actively selling products by engaging with customers to meet their needs and contribute to business goals and growth. • Being an expert and passionate about the IKEA product range; and actively learning about their features and benefits. • Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced. • Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality. • Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
As Sales Co-worker you are and/or have: • Passionate about home furnishings and sharing the IKEA product and service range features and benefits with customers. • Experience working in a retail sales environment is desirable. • A ‘Togetherness’ mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong communication skills and ability to connect with others, you can understand the customer's needs and build strong relationships. • An authentic approach in actively selling and self-motivated to meet sales targets. • You prioritise safe work practices and you are comfortable with a physical workload and regular manual handling. • A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills, always with the customer in mind. • IT systems capability with an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA product range, tools, and systems.
