Additional Information:
• This role is permanent Part-time, 40hrs/fortnight.
• The internal job title for this role is Sales Co-worker.
• This role requires you to be available to work a range of hours from 8:00am – 9:30pm. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
RECRUITMENT PROCESS AND KEY DATES

• If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2-day Welcome induction.
About this work area
As Warehouse Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
• Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
• Using inventory systems to ensure stock inventory is correct and up to date, ensure the Self Serve warehouse is always well-stocked, tidy and presentable.
• Condensing stock, including unloading pallets and cutting boxes open to restock appropriate products.
• Assisting customers with loading flatpacks or products onto their flatbed trolleys when required.
• Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
As Warehouse Sales Co-worker you are or have:
• Passionate about home furnishings and appreciator of quality focusing on maintaining a high level of product knowledge and sharing the IKEA product range with customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with others, you can understand the customer's needs and the ability to build strong relationships.
• An authentic approach in generating sales, whilst maintaining a professional, self-motivated attitude towards meeting sales targets and KPIs.
• Clear and concise communication skills, a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• A ‘Togetherness’ mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA product range and tools.
• A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive movements and lifting.
