    Additional information:
    • This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight
    • The internal job title for this role is Unit Business Risk & Compliance Co-worker
    • This role requires availability to work a range of hours from 6:00am to 10:30pm weekdays and alternating weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).
    • As part of the recruitment process this role requires a Pre-employment Check, including a National Police Check for final candidates.
    • If successful, you will be required to obtain a Security License and First Aid & CPR Certifications.

    About this work area

    As Business Risk & Compliance Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Being the friendly first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and co-workers, while managing access to and from the store.
    • Provide administrative support for risk prevention and compliance tasks, including audits, incident reporting, database management, and filing.
    • Monitoring and reviewing CCTV, conducting investigations, responding quickly and efficiently to alarms, and initiating emergency response procedures where required.
    • Assist in ensuring the store is compliant with all IKEA and local rules, guidelines, and legislative requirements, to protect our assets and the IKEA brand.
    • Assist with the response and management of emergency situations and safety incidents.
    • Support a strong Risk & Compliance culture by leading by example and always looking for better ways to reduce loss, prevent incidents, and keep our store and co-workers safe.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that health, safety, and security standards are met across all departments. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that health, safety, and security standards are met across all departments.



    As Business Risk & Compliance Co-worker you are or have:
    • A current Security license and First Aid & CPR certifications, or the willingness and ability to obtain them.
    • Strong customer focus, you keep our customers in mind in your daily tasks.
    • A passion for creating a safe & secure working environment and a commitment to leading by example.
    • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to stay calm and deliver clear instructions during emergencies.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at once, respond to changing priorities, and stay organised.
    • Experience with regular use of computers, IT systems, with experience in admin and reporting tasks.
    • A proactive, solution-focused mindset – you look for ways to improve and make things safer every day.
    • A team-focused attitude – you enjoy working with others and supporting your team when it matters most.
