About the job

As a Graphic Communicator, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience by ensuring that store communication aligns with IKEA’s visual and verbal identity. Your work will contribute to building a strong and consistent brand perception in the local market.
Your assignment
- Manage and contribute to the process of creating and providing store communication that conveys the benefits of the IKEA concept, completes and enhances the range of presentations using proven solutions, recommended principles, guidelines and directions.
- Stay up to date with knowledge about home furnishing, communication and retail design trends to follow creative directions that inspire and surprise store visitors through the IKEA visual and verbal identity.
- Act quickly to seize commercial opportunities while understanding the impact of your actions on financial results.
- Show curiosity and passion for improving the customer shopping experience by developing clear and easy-to-understand communication, including infographicsand other visual elements.
Qualification
Your profile
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in graphic design with a proven portfolio.
- Ability to combine commercial, aesthetic and practical skills.
- Strong ability to generate, visualise, and present new ideas.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Confidence in approaching and clearly communicating with cross-functional teams in various situations.
- A flexible and hands-on approach to responsibilities.
- Experience in retail or an agency setting is a plus.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting set deadlines.
- Deep knowledge of graphic communication processes, including graphic design software, video editing, and print production tools.
- A strong understanding of the IKEA Concept, brand objectives, and IKEA’s visual and verbal identity.
- Driven to exceed goals and continuously improve ways of working.
