    Additional Information:
    • This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight
    • The Hiring Manager for this role is Rizal Ali Ramlan - Interior Design Manager
    • Applications close Wednesday 19th November 2025
    • You must have the availability to work 6:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday (and occasional weekend or public holiday shifts according to business needs).
    • As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates.

    About this work area

    As an Interior Design Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Using your passion for home furnishing to contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
    • Communicating and implementing your home furnishing knowledge to create and inspire home furnishing solutions for customers (involving customer visits) through creating in-room settings, homes, vignettes, and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity.
    • Stimulating and increasing the interest in home furnishing through constantly showing new and inspiring solutions that motivate people to visit the IKEA store frequently.
    • Assisting in building furniture and setting up new room-sets when required.
    • Using the IKEA product range to show the distinct and different styles that appeal to many individual tastes and needs within the local market.
    • Reflecting the IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in all commercial, sales support, and co-worker areas.



    As an Interior Design Co-worker you have:
    • A true passion for home furnishing and people’s lives at home with a strong ability to inspire and transform living spaces.
    • Experienced with programs such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe CC Suite, and Revit is preferred but not essential.
    • Having an Interior Design/Architecture qualification, or previous experience is preferred.
    • An understanding of how to handle tasks with a practical, hands-on mindset often utilising tools like ladders and power tools.
    • A strong communicator, capable of guiding peers and influencing stakeholders to achieve design goals.
    • An ability to flourish in a dynamic and creatively charged environment, working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
