You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday). • This role requires availability to work store operating hours as listed below: o Monday and Friday 7:00am to 10:00pm o Saturday and Sunday 7:00am to 7:00pm

As Self-Serve Warehouse Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Engage with customers on the sales floor, understanding their needs and using your product and service knowledge to support confident purchasing decisions. • Actively contributes to sales performance, approaching customers with a positive, service focused attitude and supporting business growth. • Ensure high product availability by accurately replenishing your assigned sales and warehouse areas, supporting both customer demand and operational efficiency. • Always Follow IKEA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) to maintain a safe environment for customers and coworkers across sales and fulfilment activities. • Operate warehouse equipment to support fulfilment, stock movement, replenishment, and internal transportation of goods. • Manage stock handling processes, including storing, retrieving, replenishing, and moving inventory between warehouse and sales floor. • Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked sales area, ensuring accurate pricing and strong visual standards. • Collaborate closely with your team and other departments to deliver a seamless customer experience and foster an inclusive, supportive workplace.
As Self-Serve Warehouse Co-worker you are: • Previous warehouse and/or sales experience preferred • Passionate about learning and sharing the IKEA product range with customers. • Able to prioritise multiple tasks and are comfortable with on-the-job physical activity. • Adopt a customer-focused mindset and strive to deliver a memorable shopping experience. • A friendly attitude and are comfortable with connecting and interacting with people. • Ability to prioritise and organise individual work duties to make the most efficient use of time available. • A flexible approach/open to change. • Good personal discipline and attention to detail. • Confident in approaching and talking to people and demonstrating a friendly manner when approached by colleagues. • This role is physically demanding and requires regular lifting, carrying and moving of heavy, bulky flat-packed furniture. • The candidate must be comfortable performing repetitive manual handling tasks and being on their feet for extended periods while always maintaining safe work practices.
