Who you are

IKEA Denmark is in the process of a major transformation, with Finance & Accounting working to implement SAP. You now can become part of our large, dynamic, international company. Right now, we are looking for a new colleague who is passionate about accounting and has the right experience to lead other team members.

You would have solid and proven background in accounting tasks including experience in our financial process tower source-to-pay (accounts payable), order-to-cash (accounts receivable) and record-to-report (data management, general ledger, financial close etc.). It must be completely natural for you to communicate with all levels of the organization and to provide service-oriented support where you function as a trust-building link between Finance & Accounting and the organization.

We would also like you to:
• Be passionate about accounting and setting up new financial processes and improving existing ones.
• Have 8 + years accounting / audit experience and relevant education
• Take control over the set of regulations within the accounting area and knows how to seek out knowledge.
• Have a strong understanding of IT systems (SAP skills preferred) and a willingness to learn new ones.
• Be structured and good at prioritizing tasks and time.
• Communicate effectively in both Danish and English in both writing and speech.
• Be proactive with, high drive and personal leadership.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for accounting tasks and leadership, where some of the tasks are:

• Ensure daily operations and the continued development of the accounting team.
• Ensure deadlines and quality.
• Carry out own operational tasks.
• Manage the monthly closing and participate in the year-end, ensuring compliance with INGKA Group frameworks and local GAAP.
• Contact with stakeholders.
• Responsible for the collaboration with GBO (Global Shared Service Center) on outsourced tasks.
• Many varied and exciting ad hoc tasks and assistance across Finance & Accounting and the rest of the organization.

You will primarily collaborate with the department's other employees, financial controllers, GBO (Global Shared Service Center), IKEA Business as well as with IKEA Global Accounting & Reporting.

Other information

• Danish work permits are required and speaking and writing fluent in Danish and English as well and you know the Danish Tax system/regulations.
• The position is an average of 37 hours per week on an individual contract. Overtime is reflected in the salary. Working hours are between 8-16 on weekdays, but we are flexible, and you can also work from home.
• Salary within IKEA's salary policy is based on your skills and includes pension.
• In addition to your salary, IKEA also offers a pension and bonus scheme, health insurance, a massage scheme, a canteen, a staff discount, and discount club with external partners, an annual gift and a Loyalty program
• In this position, you will have a reference to the Country Financial Controlling & Tax Manager and the position is in the Service Office (Head Office), IKEA Taastrup.
