    We are seeking a team leader to oversee the daily operations of our Goods Replenishment in Taastrup. We imagine that you, as a leader, are operationally oriented but capable of taking a step back to prioritize, delegate, and follow up on tasks. You are self-driven, trustworthy and know that your team is your greatest resource. You thrive in a busy environment, and your strong leadership ensures that you maintain an overview. Your insight and curiosity about logistics processes enable you to see and optimize your business.

    To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:
    • University degree (Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management) or relevant experience and proven performance in retail and/or logistics role.
    • 1-2 years of experience in leading people with a proven record of successful leadership, delivering both business results and people development.
    • Proven experience in working through others, setting priorities, delegating responsibility, and giving open and honest feedback.
    • Business-minded approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals.
    • Good computer skills.
    • Ability to implement a structural way of working within the area of responsibility.
    • Problem-solving experience.
    • Experience with night shifts and staggered working hours.
    • Ability to express yourself effortlessly in English, both in writing and speaking.
    • Flexibility in your work approach.
    • Experience working with routines and creating structure in a busy environment, for yourself as well as your employees.

    A day in your life with us

    As a team leader in Goods Replenishment, you are responsible for ensuring that the goods are where they need to be when we open the warehouse. You are responsible for motivating your employees and ensuring that they are always ready to perform good work that also complies with current safety regulations.

    You will lead the Fulfilment Operations Co-workers in the assigned area of responsibility to secure the highest goods availability, operational readiness, and always at the lowest cost. You will take the direct lead with identifying, recruiting, retaining and developing the many talents in the Fulfilment Operations team, to secure a diverse, high-performing team that can execute its assigned responsibilities with confidence and secure the future succession. You will secure effective, qualitative and efficient daily Fulfilment Operation, by contributing to goal achievement, people, shift and equipment planning, creating co-workers' quality awareness to prevent and reduce damages, driving the implementation of local business plans/projects and analyze existing workload to secure daily volume handling and meet seasonal needs.

    Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

    • Daily and weekly resource and equipment planning.
    • Onboarding and securing leadership on the floor.
    • Lead and steer the continuous update of the Unit's internal service agreement.
    • Facilitating operational training.
    • Performance evaluation and development of Fulfilment Operations Co-workers.

    Together as a team

    In our Goods Replenishment department, we ensure that the goods are properly stocked, both in accordance with current safety regulations and so that they are easily accessible to customers. We work with a strict deadline, as the goods must be in place before the warehouse opens at 10:00 AM.

    You will be the leader of an experienced and diverse team of 25 co-workers, and you will be part of a leadership team with high ambitions and commitment to deliver the best customer experience.

    Other information

    •The position is an average of 37 hours per week on an individual contract.
    • Salary within IKEA's salary policy.
    • Working hours are between 02:00 - 12:00 Monday to Sunday.
    • Weekend work every 3rd weekend.
    • You must calculate while working a lot in the operation of the department store.
    • You will be part of a shift rotation with both staffing and responsibility hours. Additionally, you will have influence over your own working hours in accordance with the business.
