    • Process understanding: In-depth knowledge of the "order to goods received" and "invoice to pay" processes within the Procurement Wheel
    • Organizational insight: Good understanding of Ingka store operations and indirect procurement strategies and ways of working
    • Relationship building: A commitment to sustainable collaboration and co-creation
    • Market knowledge: Familiarity with the supplier base and market relevant to your area of focus
    • Proficiency in English: Fluent in both written and spoken English. Having Danish speaking is a benefit.
    What you'll be doing day to day
    As an Operational Purchaser, you will be crucial in securing seamless procurement processes and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your role will involve communicating with suppliers about our new procurement system, setting up and managing content, simplifying purchasing processes, and ensuring data accuracy and cleanliness.

    Your responsibilities will include:
    • Ensuring all purchase orders are placed by requesters through SAP Ariba by keeping them informed about the latest ways of working.
    • Support business partners to actively place their complex orders in SAP Ariba, including project orders and yearly orders.
    • Supporting and coaching users on creating Goods Receipt and Service Entry Sheets in SAP Ariba, enabling suppliers to perform PO-Flip, secure 3-way match, and automate invoice handling.
    • Driving compliance with KPIs, such as PO Compliance, Invoice Match Rate, and Pay on Time, for units within your area of responsibility.
    • Ensuring suppliers are fully equipped to trade via SAP Ariba with Ingka by managing contact details, access, and smooth operations.
    • Proactively maintaining and improving catalog content in SAP Ariba to enhance the ordering process for requesters and streamline invoicing for suppliers.
    • Acting as the primary point of contact for operational procurement matters, facilitating communication between requesters, suppliers, and GBO.
    • Managing small purchasing activities, including "3 bits & buy" processes, for purchases below the defined annual threshold.
    • Building a strong network with requesters in Denmark by proactively reaching out and fostering trustful relationships.

    Other information
    • Temporary position (01.05.25-30.04.26)
    • The position is an average of 37 hours per week on an individual contract.
    • Your working hours will vary depending on business needs, but there is great flexibility throughout the workweek. (You should expect that some workdays will be in Sweden and some in Denmark)
    • The salary is determined within IKEA's salary policy and is based on your competencies, including pension benefits.

    • We would like the position to start on 01.05.25 or by agreement.
