Additional Information: • These roles are Permanent Part Time, 50hrs/fortnight • The internal job title for this role is Customer Co-worker • Due to operational requirements, candidates must be available to work a flexible rotating roster between 9:00am and 9:30pm, including evenings, 3 out of 4 weekends each month, and peak trading periods. • To be considered for this role you have full-day availability Wednesdays and Fridays.

About this work area
As Customer Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Delivering a fast, friendly, and accurate checkout experience for customers. • Handling cash and card payments in a reliable, efficient, and accurate manner. • Supporting daily Customer Experience operations, including responding to customer enquiries and resolving customer concerns. • Assisting across Customer Experience areas including Greeting, Exchanges & Returns, and Customer Service as required. • Contributing to a safe, clean, and welcoming customer environment by keeping areas organised, returning products to their correct location, replenishing supplies, and supporting daily operational routines. • Ensuring customers have a positive final touchpoint during their IKEA shopping experience. • Recording information accurately in relevant systems to support continuous improvement. • Working collaboratively with your team to provide a seamless and enjoyable customer experience.
As a Customer Co-worker you are: • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences for every customer. • A confident communicator who enjoys interacting with people and building rapport. • Able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing priorities. • A positive team player who works collaboratively and contributes to a supportive team culture. • A proactive problem-solver who remains calm and solution-focused in challenging situations. • Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling customer transactions accurately. • Experienced in retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing environment (preferred). • Able to work independently while also supporting co-workers across different Customer Experience functions.
