    • This role is Permanent, Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight
    • This role requires availability to work a range of hours from 6:00am – 10:00pm weekdays and alternating weekends per fortnight (both Saturday and Sunday).
    • A pre-employment check will be required for final candidates.

    About this work area

    As Fulfilment Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:
    • Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing Fulfilment Operations team.
    • Facilitating effective stakeholder relationships to ensure the IKEA Concept and commercial priorities are a living reality and support maximised goods availability and customer order fulfilment efficiency.
    • Ensuring compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct, IKEA Standard Operating Procedures, internal regulations, and local legislation related to health, safety & security within the Fulfilment Operations team.
    • Effectively leading change when Implementing improvements, new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
    • Placing a strong emphasis on nurturing well-being and managing performance, development, and actively planning succession.
    • Effectively managing resources and operational expenses to maximise efficiency and drive profitability in fulfilment operations.



    As Fulfilment Operations Manager, you have:
    • A sound understanding of Customer Fulfilment, including analysis, performance monitoring and influencing factors.
    • Proficiency embedding working methods that ensure operational excellence throughout Fulfilment Operations.
    • Strong stakeholder management with a holistic business approach.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop diverse teams and experience planning succession.
    • An extensive understanding of end-to-end supply chains, methods, policies, and industry requirements.
    • Thorough understanding and leadership of safety and standard operating procedures for fulfilment.
    • Competence in resource planning and navigating workload forecasts, and fulfilment flow allocation.
    • The passion to lead with integrity and authenticity, championing IKEA’s values and encouraging your team to embody these principles in their daily work.
    • The ability to coordinate, liaise and communicate with stakeholders effectively while driving the end-to-end functions within fulfilment operations.

    To be considered for this role, experience in the following is essential:
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management delivering business and people results
    • A comprehensive understanding of safety, standard operating procedures, and industry requirements in fulfilment and the ability to embed these into the culture.
    • Proven experience managing effective internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieve fulfilment and business goals.
    • Strong analytical skills and an ability to understand budget, cost and key performance measurements and translate them into actions.
    • Strong communication and leadership, with a demonstrated capacity to lead teams, set clear priorities, delegate tasks effectively, and provide constructive feedback.
